The Village of Oak Hill Police Department, covering just over one square mile, servicing 1,700 residents, is seeking applicants for the positions of full-time Police Officer.
The candidate must be certified by OPOTA.![]()
Police Officers are responsible for protecting life and property, preventing, deterring and investigating crime, enforcing laws and responding to citizen requests through the use of community policing strategies to engage and educate the community.![]()
Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted Ohio driver's license with no major citations. Obtain and maintain OPOTA Certification. A variety of scheduled shifts available. Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs
of these positions may be invited to participate in a selection process as well as a criminal background check and drug screen.![]()

🚨Area law enforcement need your help identifying this vehicle and driver  that they believe was involved in a hit-and-run of an Oak Hill area to toddler on State Route 93 ,just north of Zane Oak Road, Oak Hill, Ohio. This incident occurred Tuesday, April 22, 2025, just after 8 PM.
